Lilly Peppou
Psychologist, BSc, MSc, PhDc
Lily E. Peppou has completed with distinction her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Bristol and the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London, while she is upon completing her PhD after having won a scholarship for her research. She is currently the Co-ordinator of the Unit of Social Psychiatry and Psychosocial Care at the University Mental Health, Neurosciences and Precision Medicine Research Institute “Costas Stefanis” and a Scientific Collaborator of the First Department of Psychiatry, University of Athens. Regarding her clinical work, she is a trainee psychoanalyst at the Hellenic Psychoanalytic Association and she has more than 10 years of clinical experience in psychosocial rehabilitation services and community mental health centres. She is the clinical supervisor of the mental health platform, My Happy Self, which delivers e-mental health services worldwide. She has collaborated as a psychologist (clinical, research and teaching duties) with many menta health organizations and educational institutions in the country, e.g. the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, the Association for Regional Development & Mental Health (EPAPSY), the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki among others. She has presented her scientific work in many international and national congresses and she has more than 40 international publications at peer-reviewed journals, including the Lancet, BMJ Open and others.
