The basic investigation and evaluation of Female Fertility is conducted in 3 axes: Through the clinical assessment and examination by a specialist Gynecologist, through laboratory testing (hormonal evaluation and pathogen detection) and through medical imaging methods (ultrasonography / salpingography) to determine physiology and function of the female reproductive system. Depending on the indications and the medical history of a woman, specialized examinations may be offered such as molecular testing, hematological and biochemical examinations, as also minimally invasive procedures such as hysteroscopy and laparoscopy may be required.
In addition to the ovarian function, the environment and the patency of the reproductive system, endometrial receptivity and other factors related to achieving and maintaining pregnancy, as well as minimizing the possible complications of pregnancy are examined. As the female body nurtures, protects and promotes the development of a novel genetic organism, it is important in collaboration and always under the guidance and supervision of the Gynecologist to safely perform all appropriate tests to protect the health of mother and fetus.
