Grigoris Derdelis

Obstetrician – Gynecologist, MD, MSc, PhD

Dr Grigoris Derdelis is an Obstetrician, Surgeon and Gynecologist, specialized in modern obstetrics and gynecology in one of the leading hospitals in London. Dr Derdelis held a university associate (lecturer) position at the Third Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at Attikon University Hospital and was in charge of the gynecological ultrasound department. Currently, he is the scientific director of the gynecological ultrasound department of Mitera hospital. He holds a PhD in Gynecological Oncology from the Medical School of the University of Athens. He also holds a master’s degree from the Medical School of Athens in minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery and telemedicine (MSc). He was trained in gynecology at the “Agios Savvas” Cancer Hospital and completed his education at the First University Clinic of the “Alexandra” Hospital. Shortly afterwards he moved for three years to London, specifically to the University College London Hospital. The University of London -UCL- has a prominent place in the best universities in the world. He was trained in gynecological ultrasound but also in the diagnosis and treatment of problems of early pregnancy, as well as in the operations performed with ultrasound guidance. At the same time he took part in gynecological surgeries and in the delivery room of the hospital and was trained in all the new techniques in both obstetrics and gynecology. During his stay abroad he has authored numerous papers that have been published in notable international journals and has participated in research protocols the results of which will be published in the near future.
